About Us

Paddling Palau is a full service kayak outfitter located in the heart of Micronesia. Founded in 1995 by Marine Biologist Ron Leidich, our company has been committed to offering the best equipment, supreme service, and the finest guides in the whole of Oceania. Paddling Palau offers Kayak & Equipment Rentals, Kayak Day Tours, Private Snorkeling Adventures, Overnight Camping Expeditions, & even Luxury Camping Safaris.

Our playground includes over 300 jungle covered limestone islands filled with Natural Caves, Siphon Tunnels, Gravity defying arches, Marine Lakes, Secluded Coves, Mangrove Forests, Old Growth Coral Gardens, Reef Fish Aquariums, & Tropical Beaches. The eco-friendly kayaks allow us to enjoy this natural paradise in peace and harmony with the delicate ecosystem. Our highly trained local naturalist guides share their love & knowledge of Palau with our visitors creating an intimate learning environment in the midst of nature’s classroom.

Paddling Palau is a family run business and has committed itself for over a decade to caring for the reef and the community. We’re actively involved in numerous Conservation Projects which include Crown of Thorns Starfish Reduction Programs, Endemic Bird Research, and Pelagic Shark Conservation. We’ve committed ourselves to an all Palauan staff in an effort to create “Reef Ambassadors” within the community and to insure that the bounty of the Palau’s resource benefits her stake holders. We love showing off this “Under Water Serengeti” and invite you to peruse our page and enjoy some of our favorite photos.
