Camping Expeditions

Paddling Palau’s camping expeditions are designed for outdoor adventure enthusiasts.  The expeditions combine Palau’s ultimate snorkeling experiences with our best paddle routes and finest camp grounds.  Each day is an action packed combination of hiking, snorkeling, paddling, and exploring.

Our team of Palauan guides lead guests through a maze of over 300 rock islands in search of sea turtles, endemic birds, exotic plant life, ancient village sites, and forgotten WWII relics.  These expert guides will also share their knowledge of how Palauans traditionally lived off the land.   In true survivor fashion, our local guides know which plants are edible, which species are used medicinally, and they understand just how to tap into the bounty of the sea.

The unforgettable snorkel sites in Palau defy description.  The myriad of islands hold over 70 salt water lakes, 3000’ vertical drop-offs, secluded bays, patch reefs, and old growth coral forests, all of which are teaming with a mega-abundance of fish life.  The uncountable number of habitat types insures that each snorkel experience is a unique event. Our expedition packages include an expert guide & support staff, kayaks & paddle gear, all camping equipment, and even dry bags & boxes for your camera equipment & valuables.  

While our fully boat supported Luxury Camping Safaris are designed for novice paddlers, the Expeditions are better suited to experiences kayakers.  The expeditions may require paddle stretches of one hour or more, so guests should be physically fit and mentally prepared.

We require a minimum of four guests to confirm an expedition booking.   Custom packages are available which will allow you to choose the number of days and nights of your journey.  We offer expeditions ranging from 3 to 10 days.  Bookings & inquiries can be directed to info@paddlingpalau.net.
